Casting Call for "Fishbones" Film

A recent high school graduate, is struggling to get the respect he wants from the outside world. While his outside world is occupied with abuse and frustration, he finds it easier to ball it all up with his music and find a way to just get by.

A homeless kid the same age as Derek is trying to make due in the world by whatever means necessary. He’s willing to do anything in order to get what he wants, while also feeling a deep animosity towards those better off in the world.

The older brother of Derek, is a macho man who, while enjoying the respect he gains from doing illegal activities, isn’t comfortable with it. He’s a cool and chill person that has to hide back a lot of the struggles and trauma he faces in his day to day life.

The father of Derek and Samuel, is a broken man abandoned by any sort of veterans benefits he would have gotten. His time in war has left him emotionally broken, turning to alcohol and abuse to try and fill the void left in his world.
