About the project: I Was Loved follows a young man named Junwoo, who lives alone in Los Angeles and drifts between isolation and memory. After losing touch with his grandfather in Korea, he begins to feel haunted by the traces of their shared past—the smell of doenjang-jjigae simmering on the stove, a pair of tiny shoes tucked away, a last wave that went unseen. The film is a quiet meditation on love and absence, and on how tenderness lingers even when words and people fade away Rate: Non-union. $75 flat rate. Credit and meal will be provided - transportation reimbursement is a possibility. This is a microbudget student short film, thus the rate.
