About the project: The film follows an eight-year-old boy facing “arrest” for refusing to eat his vegetables — a playful, deadpan world filled with sharp humor, eccentric adults, and dynamic roles for both young performers and character actors. Rate: Union and Non-Union talent. These roles are unpaid. Additional information: Shooting in the Toronto/GTA area this February. Casting submissions are due ASAP. 5'8 and shorter. shorter in stature. emotional/reactive. adds levity with forensics fussiness and incompetence.
Principal. A wine-drunk, exhausted, and emotionally checked-out parent. over-dramatic, unstable, and glued to her phone. performs exaggerated but believable comedic behavior.
A frazzled, well-meaning man constantly fixing things around the house badly. soft-spoken, nervous, and perpetually distracted by a never-ending list of repair tasks.
