A middle aged vacuum salesman. His confidence is completely shattered after he’s served divorce papers from his wife of seven years. When he goes to drown his sorrows he stumbles upon a bar for working clowns and learns how to laugh again.
The Birthday Clown is a man defined by his work. His name says it all; he’s a clown for little kids birthday parties and wouldn’t choose to do anything else. He’s incredibly empathetic and can’t stand to see another soul not having a good of a time as he is. That being said, his joy masks the more realist and down to earth person he is.
The Bartending Clown is the owner of a bar in which the local clown community masses. He is a big and burly man and takes things much more seriously than one would suspect a clown to take things. With a preference for dry humor, his seriousness is always in some attempt to lighten the mood either through absurdity or contradiction.
Belly the Juggling Clown is an extravagant human being. Her personality takes up a lot of space at any function she attends. She loves her work and is always experimenting with new things to juggle. She’ll always try to push people outside of their comfort zone and get them to try new things with her. *JUGGLING EXPERIENCE A PLUS
The Caricaturist Clown is an older clown and has been in the scene for a long time now. Laffy spends his days someplace he can see the ocean offering cheap caricatures to any passerby wanting a laugh. When he doesn’t have customers he’ll often draw anyway, sketching scenes of his surroundings and making cartoons out of humorous interactions. *DRAWING EXPERIENCE A PLUS
Chuckles the Prankster Clown always has a trick up his sleeve. He loves to pull juvenile pranks and tricks in order to get a cheap laugh that will ultimately make him laugh harder than any victim ever would, or could. Anything from whoopee cushions to joy buzzers, the more gadgets and toys he can play with the better.
Zippo the Magic Clown always had a dream of being on America's Got Talent and getting the Golden Buzzer for his amazing magical prowess. While he is rather gifted at the art of illusion, this opportunity has never been afforded to him. For as long as anyone has ever known Zippo to stop by Chopo’s Bar, he’s never said a word.
