Seeking Performers for "Into the Woods" Show
Seeking Performers for "Into the Woods" Show About the Show: What happens after "Happily Ever After"? Enchanting and cautionary, Into the Woods by Stephen Sondheim and James Lapine, at its heart, meditates on the complexities of human desire, the consequences of our choices, and the ties that bind us together. By showing the dark sides of fairy tales the musical reveals the messier truths of adulthood: that wishes are never simple, that loss and grief are part of every journey, and that our stories echo through generations long after we are gone. In this current cultural moment, marked by uncertainty and division, Into the Woods offers a timely reminder of the costs of desire, the resilience of community, and the beauty of collective care.
