About the project: If the film is greenlit, it will enter production in January of next year before being shown at the Nickelodeon Cinemas in May 2026, as well as various theaters and festivals across the state. SYNOPSIS: Lily Beaufort is a fresh high school graduate spending one last summer with her friends. She wants nothing more than to freeze time and prevent everyone from moving on—but freezing time is impossible. So, she does the next best thing and extensively photographs every memory. However, Lily's photographs are anything but a faithful representation of these memories; instead, they're mirrors of everything she wishes they had been. So consumed by this idealistic series of events, Lily fails to realize just how much distance this hobby of hers has created between her and her friends. In “Lens of Reverie,” Lily must rediscover her memories and mend her friendships after her photographs alter her perception of reality. This journey will force her to decide what is more important to her: her fantasies, or her friends? Rate: NON-UNION & UNPAID (Food will be provided!) (LEAD) Lily is an anxious high school graduate about to face the biggest change of her life—college. Her friends have already begun to move on, but she cannot seem to let go of the past. She’s turned to photography as a way to cling onto the past, but in doing so, has lost sight of everything that means the most to her.
(SUPPORTING) Izzie is a peacemaker who wants nothing more than for all of her friends to get along, but Lily’s obsession with photography has created a rift within the group. Izzie is desperate to reunite the friend group and put everything back to normal, but no one else seems to care quite as much as she does.
(SUPPORTING) Emma is a bubbly yet hardworking student in the process of transferring to an out-of-state school. Vic and Izzie are ecstatic—Lily not so much. Emma wants her last memories with her friends before she moves away to be positive, so she does her best to maintain her happy persona regardless of how she feels.
(SUPPORTING) Vic is a snarky yet caring free-spirited individual with little care for what the future holds. She does whatever she wants, whenever she wants, but makes sure to fit time into her schedule for her friends. She appears unbothered that her friends are drifting apart, but in truth, she needs her friends more than they know.
