"Dead Man Picture Palace" is a gothic-fantasy short film that follows a Lost Soul in the afterlife who, after fleeing from his eternal judgement, hides in a strange theater that forces him to come face to face with his past life. 2. "Sophie" is a comedy - coming of age short film about a girl going home for her childhood dogs funeral. 3. "PEST", a dark satirical comedy, explores the perspective of a young saleswoman in her quest for success in the door-to-door sales world. But what begins as awkward pitches and slammed doors spiral into a darkly comic battle with capitalism, where she learns workers are as disposable as the pests they exterminate. 4. "Til Death Do Us Part" is a Romantic Horror/Dark Comedy short film is about a married couple who discover they both carry a deadly secret that could make or break their marriage. 5. “Roomies" is a Horror short - Anna has been haunted by an entity for months, she tries in vain to get her roommate Chloe to believe her, but Chloe knows more about this entity than she lets on. "Dead Man Picture Palace" He's an odd, proper fellow with precise mannerisms and a knack for customer service. He bargains with The Lost Soul for his precious silver pocket watch.
"Dead Man Picture Palace" They're a tall and brooding angel of death. Their job is to retrieve the runaway Lost Soul.
"Dead Man Picture Palace" She's a boisterous pilot and a loyal patron of the Dead Man Picture Palace. She'll stay as long as she can especially if the drinks keep coming.
"Sophie" She' s a family outcast, independent to a fault, and has trouble confronting her feelings about the loss of her childhood pet.
"Sophie" An over the top mother who will do anything for her loved ones, especially the late Sophie.
"Sophie" A goofball brother that knows how to have a good time. He loves attention when he's not crying over Sophie.
"PEST" Lead A bright but awkward door-to-door sales rookie determined to make enough cash to escape suburbia and study abroad. She's a wiz with pesticides but hopeless when it comes to closing a sale.
"PEST" Supporting Characters A clean cut sales bro and Valerie's coworker/mentor. He exudes sleek confidence and easy charm. His pseudo-intellectual advice puzzles both Valerie and the audience.
"PEST" Supporting Characters A self-important, businessman and homeowner. His "words of advice" are soaked in condescension with a splash of casual misogyny. He radiates corporate confidence, and the belief that he is the smartest man on the street.
"PEST" Supporting Characters An eccentric, and comedic, elderly woman and Valerie's only sale. She lives with her adult son (grease stain) in a dilapidated, roach infested home.
"PEST" Featured Extras The first homeowner Valerie meets. Already pissed before he even opens the door. Delivers the quickest, most demoralizing door-slam of the day.
