About the project: Jeremy Heere is just an average teenager. That is, until he finds out about “The Squip,” a tiny supercomputer that promises to bring him everything he desires most: a date with Christine, an invite to the raddest party of the year and a chance to survive life in his suburban New Jersey high school. But is being the most popular guy in school worth the risk? A hit on Broadway and in the West End, Be More Chill is based on the novel by Ned Vizzini. Rate: All roles in this production are volunteer. Saturday July 18, 2026 - Matinee @ 2:00PM, Evening Performance @ 7:30PM. Deadline: December 21 2025 23:00. When applying, please submit the following: What to prepare for BOTH in-person and online auditions: A 32-bar/1-2 minute cut of an upbeat musical theatre song that showcases your range. For in-person auditions: please bring sheet music in your key and mark any cuts in the music for our accompanists. For self-tapes, a backing track is fine. A 1-2 minute contemporary, comedic monologue - must be memorized.
