ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. Currently casting outgoing small town Albertans for a short, meaningful documentary film for a resource and technology company. See the details below. Rate: If booked, you will receive a $10,000 honorarium. This will cover any family members involved in your story. This is a NON-UNION project. No acting experience is required, however, you should be outgoing and comfortable being filmed and interviewed. Additional information: Looking for someone who’s deeply connected to their town - the kind of person everyone knows and waves to. Maybe you're a coach, a teacher, or own/operate a cafe, a repair shop, a farm, or another small business that keeps your community running. You’re proud of where you live, you know the people by name, and you’ve seen your town change over the years. You care about your neighbours, your land, and the future of Alberta. You’ve lived through the ups and downs of local industries, and you believe that progress can still honour the past. - To apply, you MUST be a Canadian Citizen or Permanent Resident. - If shortlisted, you MUST be available for a brief video call with the director on Nov 19th or 20th. - If selected, you MUST be available for filming between Dec 8th-14th.
