4 roles
FEATURED ROLE. $150/day, 5 filming days. A man whose body shows the wear of both physical labor and emotional strain. Once composed and orderly, he now walks with a limp. His exhaustion is not loud or dramatic, it seeps into every movement, every sigh, every hesitation. A quiet dignity clings to him. The past months of extreme emotional strain makes him prone to angry and violent, rash outbursts. A man of many classic vices in which he faces everyday. He is on a search for his missing son.
FEATURED ROLE. $100 flat, half day of filming. A diminutive tyrant with thick glasses that enlarge his eyes into grotesque orbs. He thrives on control over the smallest things and explodes with childlike rage when disobeyed. His authority is theatrical and petty, the kind that's frightening because it's so absurd. He should feel like a bureaucrat promoted beyond his competence. Constantly sweaty.
FEATURED ROLE. $215 flat, 1.5 filming days. A bloated, volatile landlord who oscillates between charm & fury in the blink of an eye. Emotionally unstable. Speaks in a thick, borderline incomprehensible accent. His presence is imposing even when half-dressed in a towel, dripping wet, or rambling about trivial matters. He can only be awake for short periods of time before he grows weary & tired, even though he is so high energy in that period of time. Heavy European accent.
SUPPORTING ROLE. $100 flat, 1.5 filming days. A weary, long-suffering partner tethered to her domineering husband. She appears like a faded relic of another era, dolled up, but trapped in decay. NOTE: European accent.
