About the project: In a perfectly lit pastel room, a young influencer begins another “Get Ready With Me” live-stream smiling, glowing, performing the life her followers believe she lives. Hearts float up the screen. Her voice is bright, her world flawless. But as the stream ends, the illusion unravels. The ring light fades, and the vibrant set peels away to reveal the truth a small, bare apartment and a girl alone with her phone’s cold glow. CONTENT is a minimalist, psychological short film exploring the quiet despair of performing happiness online a portrait of exhaustion, image, and the loneliness that lives just outside the frame.
