About the project: Kalyan and his 8 months pregnant wife Renuka migrate to Canada from a small town in India in search of a better life, but what makes them quit half way and go back to their country even when people around them are flourishing. Is it the system that is broken or there’s a dent in the mindset itself? Rate: Non-Union. Volunteer/Unpaid. Additional information: AUDITION LOCATION self tape. SHOOT/PERFORMANCE DATE(S) November 29 & 30 2025. SHOOT/PERFORMANCE LOCATION(S) Surrey BC. SUBMISSION DEADLINE November 8, 2025. Shortlisted candidates will be asked to make a self tape of the audition, they will be given a scene in advance to perform for the audition. This project is also a good opportunity for someone who is looking to build a portfolio as an actor. When applying, please submit head shots, a media reel, and any additional footage showcasing your dramatic range.
