About the project: "This classic psychological thriller—originally titled Angel Street—is the chilling story that gave rise to the term “gaslighting.” Set in Victorian London, the play follows the seemingly genteel couple, Jack and Bella Manningham, whose domestic calm hides dark secrets and manipulation. As Bella begins to question her own sanity, a retired detective reopens a long-buried mystery that could expose the truth—or destroy her completely." Rate: Unpaid. Additional info: PREPARE: Please prepare a short dramatic monologue (1–2 minutes). Cold readings from the script will also be provided. Bring a headshot and résumé, if available.
