"Martyr" - Latinx Production Casting Call

After the murder of his brother at the hands of a corrupt government, Dante spiral as he seeks justice through any means necessary, but is conflicted as his Catholic faith intercedes, forcing him into an unfair dilemma on how to honor his brother's memory.

Dante's sister and a nun for her local congregation. She grieves the loss of her brother, Pedro, but tries to continue his activist efforts in his absence. However, she too struggles with not losing hope for a better future despite her vows.

A manifestation of Dante's temptations and fears. He manipulates and guilts Dante into taking extreme measures to get "justice" for his brother. Relentless and conniving, he will stop at nothing to bring Dante down with him.

Longtime confident of Dante and his family, and a pillar in his community. Stoic yet empathetic, he tries to save Dante from making a decision he may not come back from.

Older brother and mentor to Dante and Luisa. A pillar in his community and an activist, he sought to help those in need despite the dangers of a corrupt system.

Mother to Dante, Luisa, and Pedro. She grieves her son's death while trying to honor his memory by helping those in need like he did. She is inspired by his courage.
