About the project: Logline - Between chores, and quiet afternoons, Eloina’s routine is anything but exciting, until a call from a “relative” turns into a comedy of tall tales and family mix-ups. Short Synopsis - Eloina, an elderly woman, is trying to connect with her younger family members. But all her attempts go unanswered. Just as her day feels particularly quiet, her landline rings — it’s Mary, a spirited woman who talks as if they’ve known each other forever, leaving Eloina scrambling to place the voice. Their conversation quickly reveals a mix-up: Mary dialed the wrong number. Embarrassed but grateful, the two say farewell. Instead of retreating back to her routine, Eloina calls Mary back, and the two discover a surprising connection. What began as a wrong number becomes the start of a promising new friendship, brightening both of their days.
