About the project: KPop Demon Hunters: The Cosplay Experience — an immersive live-theatre sing along fusion where cosplayers, lighting, and audience participation transform your favorite animated demon hunters into a full sensory spectacle. Performed with along with memorable moments from the film, the cosplayers embodies the K-pop idols HUNTR/X and their rivals, the Saja Boys, while fans chant and sing along to electrifying choreography and battle sequences. Beloved characters like Derpy the Tiger, Sussie the Bird, and Gwi-Ma himself join the action as the stage becomes a real life full immersion of the film’s world. Blending the energy of a concert, the artistry of cosplay, and the emotion of cinematic storytelling, this event invites audiences to step inside the story and help the world’s most famous pop group save humanity. Additional info: Auditions will include: - A brief character read (lines provided at the audition). - A 30 Second dance segment of your choice (doesn’t have to be from KPDH unless you want) [Don’t worry if you can’t dance well or if the routine is very simple, they will have a choreographer and some roles don’t require dancing, directors just want to see where you’re at] - A 30-60 second monologue of your choice you may read from a paper or phone, but you must be in character. Note: You will not have to sing for this performance, so directors will not require a singing presentation at this time. *If you are interested in a role and are unable to attend on this date due to schedule conflicts, please send a video audition.
