Equity chorus dancers for "Man Of La Mancha". See breakdown below. Rate: COST $1054 weekly minimum (Tier 2+) Additional info: Local Los Angeles/Orange County area actors are encouraged to audition. PREPARATION Please be warmed up and ready to dance at the start time. Additionally, please prepare a 16-32 bar vocal selection in the style of the show. Singing from the show is welcomed. Also, please bring your headshot and resume stapled together. First Rehearsal: Tuesday, January 27th, 2026 Preview: Friday, February 13th, 2026 Opening: Saturday, February 14th, 2026 Closing: Sunday, March 1st, 2026 ECC Procedures are in effect for this audition. Bass. The Innkeeper is kind and sympathetic to Don Quixote until his inn is threatened. Married to Maria. The Governor is the imposing leader of the inmates.
Baritone. Dr. Carrasco is haughty, controlling, and engaged to Don Quixote’s niece, Antonia. The Duke is a disillusioned prisoner who dislikes Cervantes and his stories.
Mezzo. No-nonsense, exasperated, and pessimistic. Married to the Innkeeper.
Soprano. Sweet but self-centered. Niece to Alonso Quijana and engaged to Dr. Carrasco.
Mezzo. Strong, religious, holds tightly to her convictions. Works as a housekeeper for Alonso Quijana. Possible double with the Barber.
Tenor. A rough and sturdy muleteer. Beautiful voice. Guitar skills a plus.
As Tenorio, another muleteer. As the Captain, a cruel and imposing leader of the Spanish Inquisition. Guitar skills a plus.
