As she chases each impulsive thrill, she discovers that abandoning control may be the most terrifying—and liberating—choice of her life. Anti-establishment punk who lives to defy the system. Wears recklessness like a badge of honor. Confident, spontaneous, content, alive.
Joey’s easygoing friend and pool opponent. A laid-back foil to Joey’s bravado. A stoner with a southern accent.
Sam’s former roommate. Polished, gossipy, judgmental sorority girl. A reminder of the life Sam has left behind.
A jacked possible former inmate who runs his father’s gas station while he’s away.
A silent but imposing gatekeeper of the bar. Very large and muscular – visually intimidating. Unmoved by Sam’s attempts to persuade.
A weary observer of the chaos, serving drinks with quiet indifference.
