About the project: After a recent breakup, Jack, the male lead, needs to talk one last time with his ex Jessie, the female lead, before leaving for a break. He needs to make sure they at least leave on good terms. He goes to a party where she is attending with her friends and brings his friend Mike. Mike is under the assumption that Jessie is toxic. Jack has trouble communicating with Jessie and Mike due to his anxiety. Rate: No Pay. Additional info: Rehearsals Begin: October 23, 2025; Run/Shoot: TBD; Cold Read of the script. Lead, around 5’11. A very nervous and anxious young man at a party to tell his ex Jessie something. Grows more anxious as Mike leaves him alone at the party with strangers. Mike is Jack’s best friend. Has recently broken up with his girlfriend Jessie. Trying to move on by himself, but can’t bring himself to talk to her. Preferably, best friends with Mike’s actor beforehand. Mild Explicit Language.
A supporting character around 5’4. A well-meaning yet flawed to the main lead, Jack. He abandons Jack for a girl, but later searches for him and even throws a drink at Jessie, thinking she’s messing with Jack. Since he heard Jessie broke up with Jack, Mike thought she was in the wrong. He mistakenly thought Jack was going to tell her off. Preferably, already best friends with Jack’s actor beforehand. Mild Explicit Language.
The leading female character is shorter than 5’11. At a party, and is confused to see her ex there as he never goes to events. Wants to make sure there’s no bad blood between them. Mild Explicit language, willing to get a drink tossed on you twice.
