The company is holding auditions for "Little Women" show and looking for talent, please see the details below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE CONSIDERED. About the project: Based on Louisa May Alcott's 1868–69 semi-autobiographical two-volume novel, it focuses on the four March sisters— traditional Meg, wild, aspiring writer Jo, timid Beth and romantic Amy,— and their beloved Marmee, at home in Concord, Massachusetts, while their father is away serving as a Union Army chaplain during the Civil War. Intercut with the vignettes in which their lives unfold are several recreations of the melodramatic short stories Jo writes in her attic studio. Additional info: CALLBACKS: Saturday, December 13, 2025 at 10:00am at Fuquay-Varina Arts Center Please prepare 16-32 bars of a song in the style of the show. Vocal range: E3-A5; Mezzo soprano The second of the four sisters. A passionate and determined young author struggling to find her place in the world. Independent and fiery, she rejects Laurie's proposal before eventually becoming engaged to Professor Bhaer.

Marmee MarchMale40-50 y.o.All ethnicities

Vocal range: Eb3-Eb5; Mezzo Marmee is the backbone of the March family and manages to remain strong in spite of the difficulties she faces. She only reveals her true fears and pain when she sings.

Professor BhaerMale30-40 y.o.All ethnicities

Vocal range: G2-F#4; Baritone A sensible German professor boarding with Mrs. Kirk. Persuades Jo that she is “better” than the “blood and guts stuff” she writes. Falls in love with, and eventually becomes engaged to, Jo.

Vocal range: A#3-Gb5; Soprano The eldest and most traditional of the sisters. Prim and proper but romantic and sweet-natured. She marries, and has twins with, John Brooke.

Vocal range: A3-G5; Soprano The second youngest of the sisters. Timid and musical, Beth encourages and helps her sisters selflessly. Forms an unlikely friendship with the crotchety Mr. Laurence, but tragically dies of scarlet fever in Act 2.
