Seeking two talented women actors for an upcoming social show production. This short web series explores the first step of healing for survivors of sexual violence in the military. Through a powerful dialogue between two characters — a survivor and a support professional — the series captures the moment when the survivor decides to speak up for the first time. It’s a raw and emotional journey about acknowledgment, vulnerability, and the beginning of recovery, showing how confronting pain can become the first act of healing.

Empathetic, composed, and insightful, she brings both expertise and humanity to her sessions. In this episode, she leads a deep, compassionate conversation with a survivor, helping unpack trauma, resilience, and the path toward healing.
A young woman between 18 and 28 years old, formerly enlisted in the Canadian Armed Forces, where she served for three years before deciding to leave. She carries the weight of her past — a junior-ranking soldier navigating the lingering effects of sexual violence and uncertainty about her future. Hesitant yet courageous, she opens up in conversation with the therapist, revealing the complex emotions of survival, recovery, and the search for self again.
