About the project: This one-act production tells the classic story of four newly-orphaned children working together to create a life for themselves in the small New England town of Middlesex in the mid-1920s. Led by an ever-observant Stage Manager, the story is bound to tug on the heartstrings of every audience member. Additional info: Some actors will be asked to play multiple roles. If callbacks are necessary, they will take place 6-8 p.m. Oct. 28. Rehearsals start Sunday, Nov. 2. Show Dates: December 4-7. If you are interested, please apply.

The narrator of our story, who breaks the fourth-wall with the audience in order to bring them along for the story. In their words, the Stage Manager “makes sure the story gets told.”
The town doctor who takes the Boxcar Children under his wing. Will also cover lines for the Milkman.
Elderly. The richest man in town, JH Cordyce is opinionated and old-school. Under all that gruff, however, is a heart of gold. Will also cover Mr. Johnson lines.
60-70’s. The doctor’s mother. Will also cover lines for Miss Emma and Flora Burrows.
