About the project: This production reimagines the musical CATS within the context of THE BALLROOM SCENE. Performers do not play literal cats; they play people living in New York City. Rate: Production (League) $2638 weekly minimum Additional info: Audition lunch 12:30 PM - 1:30 PM. PREPARATION: Please prepare a short song that shows off your vocal range, storytelling, and personal style. Material from CATS is not required. Directors encourage selections rooted in musical theatre, R&B, soul, pop, or gospel that demonstrate vocal range, freedom, individuality, stamina, control, and high precision of technique. Choose material that highlights both your artistry and your technical command. Bring sheet music in your key; an accompanist will be provided. Please bring an updated headshot and resume, stapled together. Begins Rehearsal: February 4, 2026 Anticipated Opening: April 7, 2026 EPA Procedures are in effect for this audition.
