About the project: Set in the village of Anatevka, this iconic musical tells the powerful story of Tevye the dairyman and his family as they navigate faith, love, and change in a rapidly shifting world. With beloved songs like “Tradition,” “If I Were a Rich Man,” and “Sunrise, Sunset,” this show is a favorite for performers and audiences alike. Additional info: Character-Specific Singing: If you are auditioning for Tevye, Golde, Tzeitel, Hodel, Chava, Motel, Perchik, Lazar Wolf, or Yente, please be prepared to sing a selection from that character’s music at auditions. Sheet music will be available at auditions. Note: Due to copyright restrictions, directors cannot provide music in advance. Scripts for reading lines will also be available at the auditions. Dance Component: Please wear comfortable clothing and footwear appropriate for movement/dance. Audition form & songs by character are attached. The audition form is two pages and must be completed prior to your audition. Please download the form from attachments and bring a printed copy with you. Note: cast is required to pay a cast fee.
