ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. Seeking cast for "Underbelly" film. Please, see the details below. Rate: UBCP/ACTRA or Equivalent. Union or Non-Union. Honoraria to be provided. Additional information: Shoot/Performance Date(s) October or November 2025. Directors expect to meet one day for reading, etc., and shoot over two days. The exact dates will be available asap. Rookie cop (one of two of the first Vancouver women police officers selected in 1912); trained nurse; sheltered upbringing; determined. If possible Constable Belford will be part Asian & Caucasian, but it's not mandatory, at least not at this point in the Underbelly journey. The two constables are inspired by the constables who in 1912 were, in fact, Vancouver's first women police officers.
