Additional info: What to prepare/bring: - 32 bars of a contemporary musical theatre song that shows range and acting ability. Please bring several selections in case directors would like to hear more from you. - Headshot or snapshot - Resume Rehearsal dates: March 9-19, Sunday-Thursday evenings. 18. A big fish in a tiny a pond, who desperately wants to see the world. Misses her mom and doesn’t want to break her dad’s heart. Dangerously smart, and witty to a fault. Miss Fish Creek. (Mix Belt up to D#5)
17. Sophie’s best friend, and happily lets Sophie take the lead. She loves Door County more than anything in this whole wide world that she’ll never see. Miss Egg Harbor. (Glinda-esque Soprano Mix/Belt, top note G5 with optional D6)
18. Works in Frank’s café. Pretends to be a tough guy but keeps getting distracted by a certain pretty coworker. Kind, nerdy, and sweet. (Tenor up to G#/A4)
45. Sophie’s quiet but hardworking father. Since his wife’s death, Frank keeps his head down and his focus on his cafe, which is a full-time job. Being Sophie’s dad is also a full-time job, which he loves. (Baritone)
She won the Miss Door County Pageant but lost Miss Wisconsin and has never let it go. Now she’s its spokeswoman, announcer, and walking advertisement. You’ll never find her breaking a rule, ever. (Alto, ext to C5).
