Logline: In a world where otherworldly invaders have forced humanity to live out a sitcom for their entertainment, the daughter figure in a mismatched family of strangers attempts to escape from her lifelong suburban prison. Synopsis: In a carefully manufactured sitcom world, Daughter begins to see cracks in the illusion of her perfect family life. While she dreams of escaping the endless loop of canned laughter and staged dinners, Father insists they obey their unseen creators and preserve the family’s image at all costs. Their clash escalates into open rebellion—until Mother, torn between them, helps Daughter break free. Outside the safety of their household, however, Daughter discovers a world ruled by an even stranger, otherworldly power—and must decide whether freedom is worth the price of losing the only family she’s ever known.
