The company is holding auditions for "Little Women" Musical Show and looking for performers, please see the details below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE CONSIDERED. Additional info: Tech Week: January 25th, 2026 – February 5th, 2026 Show Dates: February 6th – 8th, 2026 & February 13th – February 15th, 2026 Strike: Immediately following the last performance Prepare an audition song cut NO MORE THAN ONE MINUTE IN LENGTH. Your song choice should be from a musical and in the style of the show. DO NOT SING A SONG FROM THE SHOW. A backing track is REQUIRED. A speaker will be provided for playing your track. Audition songs should be memorized. You will be taught a short dance combination at auditions. Be sure to wear comfortable clothes and shoes. Close-toed shoes that can be laced or strapped securely are required. If you do not wear acceptable shoes, you will be asked to change shoes. If you do not have acceptable footwear to change to, you will not be able to audition that day. Please apply if interested.

Margaret “Meg” MarchFemale21-25 y.o.All ethnicities

The world-weary, yet hopefully romantic oldest sister who yearns for a great life. She marries John and has twins with him. Doubles as Clarissa. Clarissa - The ingénue in Jo’s story; prone to fainting, sobbing dramatically, ultimately finds her courage. Vocal range: Soprano, Bb3-Bb5

Beth MarchFemale18-21 y.o.All ethnicities

The second youngest sister who tragically dies of Scarlet Fever. A loving peace-maker who is the glue that brings the sisters together, and an optimist who is always encouraging her sisters to dream. Doubles as Rodrigo II. Rodrigo II - In Jo’s story, the real hero, Clarissa’s long-lost sister in disguise. Vocal range: Soprano, A3-G5

Professor BhaerMale35-45 y.o.All ethnicities

German Professor who exemplifies proper manners. He is a boarder in Mrs. Kirk's boarding house and eventually falls in love with Jo. Vocal range: Baritone, G2-F#4

Theodore “Laurie’ LaurenceMale18-23 y.o.All ethnicities

The bright-eyed boy-next-door with considerable charm. He loves Jo but later falls in love with Amy. Doubles as Rodrigo I. Roderigo I - The obvious hero in Jo’s story; handsome, saving-the-day with much bravado. Vocal range: Tenor, Bb2-Bb4

Aunt MarchFemale45-60 y.o.All ethnicities

A formidable, over-bearing matron and great-aunt to the March sisters. The wealthy socialite in town. Doubles as Mrs. Kirk. Mrs. Kirk - The New York boarding house proprietress that lodges Jo and Professor Bhaer. Irish, kindly, warm and motherly. (Irish accent is encouraged for this character.) Vocal range: Mezzo Soprano, Eb3-F#5

Mr. LaurenceMale60-70 y.o.All ethnicities

Laurie’s grandfather and the March family neighbor. Gruff and hardened, but softens over the course of his friendship with the March family; closest to Beth. Doubles as The Knight. The Knight - In Jo’s story, an elderly Knight who possesses the key to Clarissa’s destiny. Vocal range: Baritone, C#3-E4

Laurie's tutor and a rather stiff man; shows very little emotion. He later marries Meg and changes. Doubles as Sir Braxton Prendergast. Sir Braxton Prendergast - The villain in Jo’s story; a classic mustache-twirling, dastardly fellow. Vocal range: Baritone, C#3-G4
