"The Long Weekend by Norm Foster" The Long Weekend delivers non-stop mischievous fun and scrumptious plot twists in a hilariously tangled web of truths, deception, and surprises that will leave the audience guessing – and laughing. Max and Wynn invite Roger and Abby to their new country home for a long weekend. The two couples, who don’t seem to like each other very much, spend two very long weekends together leading to a series of comedic misunderstandings and miscommunications. The absurdity of their interactions as they navigate through the trials and tribulations of these two weekends make for a very funny comedy. What ensues is a hilarious series where secrets are revealed and bad decisions are made, until everyone learns that the grass is not always greener on the other side of the fence. 2. "Chicken & Biscuits" Can rivaling sisters Baneatta and Beverly bury their father without killing each other? This proves difficult when Beverly shows up to the chapel with her “blessings” on display. Meanwhile, Baneatta’s son brings his neurotic Jewish boyfriend along, knowing Baneatta disapproves, and Beverly’s nosy daughter keeps asking questions no one wants to answer. Baneatta’s pastor husband tries to mediate the family drama, but when a shocking family secret reveals itself at the pulpit, the two sisters are faced with a truth that could either heal or break them. The title refers to the late Bernard Jenkins’ favorite foods, which we are told he could not cook to save his life but loved to eat. "Chicken & Biscuits" Female presenting, 40s-50s. An upstanding and stern Christian woman. Mother to Kenny and Simone, and wife to Reginald. She’s overbearingly full of love, but quite uptight and stubborn in her religious ways.
"Chicken & Biscuits" Male presenting, 50s. He’s the peacemaker of the family. Reginald is a ball of love, with a side of corny Dad jokes.
"Chicken & Biscuits" Male presenting, 20s. Baneatta and Reginald’s youngest child. He’s proudly queer but cowers in the presence of his mother. Kenny bites when he needs to, but at the end of the day, he just wants to be loved.
"Chicken & Biscuits" Male presenting, 20s. Kenny’s neurotic and dramatic Jewish boyfriend of 4 years. He often spins himself into a tizzy but always wants to be there for Kenny. Logan's weed pen is his crutch for tough times.
"Chicken & Biscuits" Female presenting, 40s-50s. Baneatta’s younger sister. A single mother and the life of the party. She's a savage, classy, not so bougie, but definitely ratchet when necessary.
"Chicken & Biscuits" Female presenting, Teen. Beverly’s daughter. She's nosy, loud and in everyoneelse's business but her own. She shows love, but in her own Gen Z manner. She's sarcastic to the bone.
"Chicken & Biscuits" Female presenting, 30s. Kenny’s older sister and Baneatta’s favorite. She followed the “right path. She’s pulled, slightly shady, and fierce on the exterior, but internally wounded from a recent failed engagement.

"The Long Weekend by Norm Foster" Male presenting. Exceptional comedic timing. Husband to Wynn. A successful personal injury lawyer. Brash, blunt and arrogant. The kind of guy who grinds your gears. The alpha male of the group, but there’s also a likeable quality that emerges through his clever cynicism and his opinionated honesty.
"The Long Weekend by Norm Foster" Female-presenting. Exceptional comedic timing. Wife to Max. A relationship counselor and about-to-be author. Passive aggressive, uptight, conniving, and condescending. Seems genuinely to be a nice person but has an elitist quality and is easily the most manipulative of the four characters.
"The Long Weekend by Norm Foster" Male presenting, 40s – 50s, Any Ethnicity. Exceptional comedic timing. Husband to Abby. A former high school teacher-turned-aspiring screenwriter. Quick, neurotic, passive, cheap. Easy to like on many levels, but also the pettiest character; he holds onto grudges and is very good at remembering details.
"The Long Weekend by Norm Foster" Female presenting. Exceptional comedic timing. Wife to Roger and Wynn’slongtime best friend. A shopkeeper. Smart, sassy, passive aggressive. The biggest and sweetest personality, but the most selfish and jealous of the group. Queen of the subtle put-down and a juggernaut of social dysfunction who pushes the others to their limits.
