About the project: "Freedom Reimagined: Staged Readings Willa B's Letter": A young Black woman dares to dream in world focused on keeping her bound. Will she be able to overcome the signs of the times? Or will her obstacles keep her from taking flight. This is the true story of Willa Brown. "Freedom Reimagined: Collaborative Storytelling Slam": Hear stories from actors, writers, and storytellers from across Indianapolis as they take the stage. Directors will bring together talented actors to write new stories and perform them on stage under this season's theme, "Freedom Reimagined".
