Co-owner of the Blackberry Cove Inn. Friendly, artsy, unreliable at adulting. Has some ADHD when it comes to getting things done. Life and business partner to Mary. Has a warm friendship with Blair, and an instant connection with Christopher.

Neighbour. Aging stoner, spiritual, a mooch, and idealistic, feminist. She lives in her trailer in Mary and Marie’s yard, using their electricity, bathroom, and frequently their groceries, and is always late on rent. Best friends with Shania. Has a drug-induced spiritual battle with Reverend Jeffery.

Neighbour. Very skilled, talented practical woodsperson. Androgenous. Horny but socially naïve and earnest. Lives in their hand-built tiny home on property beside Mary and Marie. Has an affair with Ms. Scarlet.

Neighbour. Superior-acting, critical, jealous, competitive. Insecure in his relationship. Owns and runs the BnB down the road. Life and business partner to Blair. He can’t resist goading Mary, his competition.

Neighbour. Flirtatious, horny, almost amoral. Life and business partner to Brian. Could be noticeably younger than Brian and chafing. He feels some sisterly connection with Marie, and an instant attraction to Christopher.

Guest. A wealthy, secretive, woman in red. Obviously mysterious and suspicious-acting femme fatale. Motives questionable for every move she makes. She has an affair with Shania.

Guest. An outgoing, friendly, and dapper pansexual man seemingly seeking one night’s shelter from the storm. Has an instant connection to Marie and Blair. His presence shortly starts to wear thin with Mary, and Brian.

Guest. A BnB secret reviewer, hyper-evangelical Christian, homophobic to a suspicious degree. She has mysterious history in the area. Puritanical, although she knows herself to be a sinner.

Guest. A fringe prosperity gospel preacher going from town to town selling his books and CDs. He’s a grifter, ranting theatrically into nonsense, and is blown in by the storm.
