Rate: ACTRA IPA Additional info: Tentative Outside Shoot Date: November 13th, 2025 - The pilot presentation will be for one day, however, the objective is that this will be green-lit to be a series at a date TBA. Location: Toronto, ON TALENT MUST BE ELIGIBLE TO WORK IN CANADA. UNION or NON-UNION to apply. What directors are looking for: - A natural connection with young audiences and the ability to talk to “one child” through the camera lens (think: FaceTime with a preschooler); - Effortless and engaging. Welcoming and warm. - A calm, reassuring presence, balanced with playfulness and genuine enthusiasm; - The key aspect is bringing your authentic self to this casting - while you might imagine a “typical” host for kids, please don’t put on an act. You can elevate who you are for the camera (if that’s what you’d do to talk to a young child), but we want to see the real you - however you show up!; - Drawing/other artistic skills, musical ability, cooking, or other creative talents are an asset.; - Someone with an Early Childhood Education background (ECE) or foundation is an asset If you’re playful, creative, and love sparking the imaginations of others, directors can’t wait to see your audition When applying, please send your self-tape.
