About the project: Oscar Levant, 1950s character actor, amazing pianist and famous wit, was also an over-medicated, neurotic mess — a very difficult person but a brilliant talk show guest. This play describes one astonishing evening in 1958 on NBC’s “The Tonight Show with Jack Parr”, where Oscar seems to have gone down in flames, bringing Parr, NBC and live television with him. Additional info: Sides will be provided. Rehearsals begin March 29th, 2026. Most rehearsals will be Sunday – Wednesday evenings (4-5 times per week).
