About the project: Bhavesh is a middle aged man living with his son and wife. He feels lost as an immigrant in Canada. One day his son brings home his Girlfriend to introduce her to the parents. To Bhavesh's dismay, his wife takes an immediate liking to the girl, despite her being Muslim. He is forced to face his prejudices. After some arguments and dysfunction, they come together to celebrate Diwali as a family. Rate: Non-Union. This is a volunteer role for a student thesis project. Crafty and food provided on set!
