Seeking actors for short film called "Somnia". ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE CONSIDERED. See the roles below. About the project: Logline: A heartbroken engineer creates a portal to reach the girl of his dreams. The project is a 15 minute sci-fi, fantasy short which follows the journey of a heartbroken engineer as he builds a portal in search of the girl of his dreams. Additional info: This project will begin filming in mid October and finish in early November. All of the roles except for MILO and RYAN will only require one or two days of shooting. Heartbroken engineering student. Swamped in work and self-pity, becomes obsessed with finding the girl from his dreams.
Milo’s ex-girlfriend. Desperately wants him to miss her, condescending and self-centered.
The girl of Milo’s dreams. Seemingly perfect in every way. This is a non speaking role. (include video introducing yourself for audition tape).
Milo’s best friend and roommate. Pessimist, self-righteous, full of energy. Cares for Milo deeply and acts as his bridge to reality.
(Says brunette on the side but actress does not need to be brunette). Confident, flirtatious, sarcastic. Sensually flirts and toys with Milo in the dreamscape over a game of chess.
