Casting Performers for "The Play that Goes Wrong" Play

"The Play that Goes Wrong" show needs actors. Please see the details below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. Additional info: What should I prepare? Please prepare a comedic contemporary/modern monologue not to exceed two minutes followed by a joke. Both should be in the world of the play. Accent work for the initial audition is not required but encouraged. For those who may want guidance on what monologue to do….either the opening monologue from COMPLETE WORKS OF SHAKESPEARE ABG or the opening monologue from THE PLAY THAT GOES WRONG would be a wonderful option. Do I need to come to callbacks? Not everyone who auditions may be called to callbacks. However, those interested in a main role, please anticipate being called for callbacks. Callbacks will be on October 10th at 6:30 pm. Callbacks will include readings from the script and potentially movement. When do rehearsals begin? Rehearsals will begin Monday, January 5th, 2026. When is the show performed? Performance Dates are February 13 & 14 at 7pm, February 15 at 2pm, February 19 & 20 at 7pm, and February 21 at 2pm & 7pm. *You must be available for all performance dates/times. What is the rehearsal schedule like? We rehearse during the week Monday-Friday from 6:30-10pm. There is one weekend that actors will be called, Feb. 7 & 8, for Tech Rehearsals. All participants must also be available for STRIKE either February 21 after the final performance or the following day, February 22, in the mid-morning through late afternoon.
