"The Last Route" Upcoming Movie Audition
Actors wanted for "The Last Route" film. Please see the details below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. Rate: Paid role, digital copy of the film, honored guest at each film festival screening as well as food and drinks that will be provided during each rehearsal and shoot. Additional info: Date: October 16th; Time: 9:30 AM – 12:00 PM; Location: Corpus Christi. For virtual auditions, submissions are open October 16–24. When applying, please follow the instructions: 1. Read us a short monologue from your favorite film. You can go all out as you want, as long as you stay within character and shine out. You don't need to be as dramatic as possible, but define to us what this character means to you through acting.

Frank's life has been a downward spiral of loss and destruction. He spends his days escaping his past in disguise, covering his misery and despair in his crisp uniform. Frank is ready for his last route which marks the beginning of retirement. Aggressive, beat, and disconnected; Frank drinks his pain away, giving him comfort and shelter from the cold of his life. The mysterious and unremorseful figure that appears towards Frank during his final job. Anna is Charon, she carries the wayward souls of the dead to their end as they face the sins of their past. Anna is the bringer of truth, a looming threat to Frank's carefully constructed persona as she guides him from the world of the living to the dead. The judgement, the truth, the end. She knows all.
