Actors sought for production of "In Pieces". ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE CONSIDERED. See the details below. Additional info: For auditions, you will just need to prepare two 32 bar cuts in the contemporary musical theatre style. This show if heavily zoomed in on multiple relationships in New York. If you are auditioning for Gray or Charlie, you must be comfortable playing a gay character. Possible in person callbacks will be held on October 19th from 1:30pm-3:30pm. REHEARSAL SCHEDULE: Rehearsals starting Monday, October 27th at 6:30pm. Rehearsals run Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday evenings with occasional Fridays to make up for missed rehearsals. They will not have rehearsal on November 27th. Tech week starts December 1st, 2025. Closeted in his younger years, he fears what people might think if they knew he was gay. This noise in his head manifests in self- destructive behavior and ultimately affects his relationship with CHARLIE.
A bit of a wallflower, a bit of a loner, until one day he is asked to tutor GREY in computer science and finds himself in a new social circle with his first life-changing relationship. Very comfortable with who he is and his sexuality, even at his most awkward. His own brand of “cool” – not a two-dimensional “nerd”.
Likable, stubborn, a bit of an eternal bachelor at heart, but wanting to grow up a little more. We experience the highs and lows in his relationship with SAM and how that journey may be complicated and twisty, but still lead to a happy ending.
