Playhouse is looking for five performers of various ethnic and cultural backgrounds to audition for December production of “A Merry Little Christmas Carol”, a play. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE CONSIDERED. See the details below. About the project: Synopsis: A Merry Little Christmas Carol is a clever new take on the Classic tale by Charles Dickens. Celebrating the magic of Christmas through the magic of theater by presenting this beloved story in a minimalist fashion by not only letting many of the settings be limited only by the imagination but also entrusting this holiday classic to only 5 actors. A Merry Little Christmas Carol hits all the same timeless beats as other productions but with new twists that are sure to delight audiences. Additional info: Those auditioning can expect to read from sides from the show. Sides will be sent out 1-2 days prior to your audition date. Callbacks will be Sunday, October 26 at 7 p.m. The show will run December 12-21; Fridays and Saturdays at 8 p.m., and Sundays at 2 p.m. If you are interested, please apply.
