About the project: Company is a musical that follows Bobby, a single man surrounded by married people, on the eve of his 35th birthday. The musical is considered one of the first popular concept musicals and is notable for lacking a linear plot. Instead, it follows Bobby in a series of disparate scenes as he watches the interaction of his married friends and debates whether or not to settle down himself. Music includes Another 100 People, Side by Side, and The Ladies Who Lunch. Rate: Unpaid. Additional info: Callbacks (if needed, by invitation only) Oct. 18, 1-4pm, Location TBD PERFORMANCE DATES: Weekend performances February 6-22, 2026 at Arts on the Green, Gaithersburg Arts Barn, 311 Kent Square Road, Gaithersburg, MD. REHEARSALS: Rehearsals will begin in November and take place weeknights (Monday-Thursday) and Saturday afternoons. They will be held at venues in Montgomery County, primarily in Gaithersburg. There are no rehearsals Thanksgiving weekend or December 23-January 1. AUDITION REQUIREMENTS: Please prepare 16 bars of music in the style of the show. Songs from the show are permitted. Accompaniment will be available. Accompanist tracks are ok as long as you bring your own speaker. Performers must be 18 years or older. Each actor will be asked to choose a cold reading when they sign in. There are no dance auditions. When applying, please schedule an audition time. Please be prepared to list any conflicts you may have November 1-February 22.
