Young performers needed for "The Prom" show. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE CONSIDERED. See the details below. Additional info: Please note: there is a fee. Please prepare song in the style of the show or from the show: 32 measures/1 min to 1.5 mins. Please prepare monologue in the style of the show: approx. 1 min. They will have a Bluetooth speaker available. Please have the karaoke/instrumental version of your song excerpt ready to go. There will also be a group dance portion where Molly will teach you 1 min. of choreography. You will perform this with the group in your hour time slot. Please bring a headshot & resume (list of show experience). Please also bring a list of conflicts for rehearsals. (No tech week or performance conflicts are allowed). Rehearsals begin December 3rd: Wednesdays 6:30pm-9:30pm AND Saturdays 1:00pm-4pm. (No rehearsals December 24th, 27th, 31st. No rehearsals January 3rd). Tech week: February 23rd-26th, 5:30-9:30. (Female presenting, 16-18). A cheerleader and top student. Secretly Emma's girlfriend. Faces constant pressure from her mother and friends. Tries desperately to fit in. Afraid to stand up to her mother.

(Female Presenting 40s). Alyssa's intimidating, conservative, single mother. The head of the PTA. Knows deep down that her daughter Alyssa is struggling with her identity. She is too afraid to face the reality because she fears her daughter will face a hard life.

(Female Identifying, 40-59). Broadway diva. A huge ego to match her huge talent. Hilariously self-involved but yearns to do something good for someone other than herself. Known for her strong Broadway belt vocals and large stage presence. Jaded with relationships so does not believe in true love until she meets Mr. Hawkins.
