About the project: Megan Jackson, a woman who sacrifices her promising career in genetics to marry Jerry Wilson, the powerful chairman of Wilson Medical Group. But their marriage, built on obligation rather than love, collapses under betrayal. When Megan suffers a miscarriage in a car accident orchestrated by Jerry’s mistress Rachel, and is later diagnosed with terminal cancer, Jerry abandons her, choosing Rachel and her unborn child instead. Broken and left for dead, Megan secretly survives with the help of Dr. Alex Hawthorne and her old mentor, Professor Samuel.
