Actors Required for "A Christmas Carol" Play Audition

About the project: Charles Dickens’ beloved classic gets a fresh spin from Michael Paller’s adaptation. In this version, the audience is witness to the creative birth of A Christmas Carol in the parlor of Dickens’ home. It’s Christmas Eve in 1843 and his family and friends are gathered, expecting to hear a tale from the celebrated author. He agrees, but only if the guests help him tell the story. The play unfolds, with a cast of 10 actors playing over forty characters we’ve come to treasure. Audiences will wonder at this love letter to the magic of theatre, the enduring power of literature, and the true spirit of Christmas. Additional info: Actors will read from the script. Pre-registration is requested but not required. Ages may be somewhat flexible. Rehearsals will take place on Sun/Mon/Wed evenings. Performances Dec 12-14, 19 &20. Tech week Dec. 7-11.
