Singers for Buffy Musical Episode "Once More, With Feeling"
Seeking singers for a concert reading of the famous Buffy Musical Episode: "Once More, With Feeling". ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE CONSIDERED. See the details below. About the project: Directors would love to collaborate with other lovers of Buffy the Vampire Slayer for this one night only performance to celebrate the 24th anniversary of the episode airing. While they (of course) think everyone should love Buffy, please feel free to apply even if you aren't familiar with the show. Additional info: Performance: November 19th at 7:30pm. Rehearsals: TBD exact times and dates based off availability but expect 2-3 music rehearsals and 1-2 script/staging rehearsals in midtown. Rehearsals will start no earlier than Sunday October 26th. Casting: No later than Friday October 24th. When applying, please include an unlisted Youtube link with a 60-90 second cut of music, along with your headshot and resume. It is strongly encouraged to sing something from Once More, With Feeling. Other musical theatre songs will also be accepted, directors just want to see what you can do, so choose something that shows off your voice.

Buffy's best friend, dating Tara Maclay. Willow is a practicing witch and has been getting into some darker things lately including memory erasure. This role has minimal singing.
One of Buffy's best friends. Engaged to Anya and starting to get cold feet.
Buffy's watcher, her mentor and father figure. Older, British.
A vampire, in a situationship with Buffy. British.
Buffy's younger sister. Minimal singing. Could have a small dance solo if you are a strong dancer.
Willow's shy witchy girlfriend.
Ex-demon, very blunt, engaged to Xander.
The villain of our episode and the one responsible for making everyone burst into random song.
This person will read various smaller lines of text and song, fill out the sound on group songs as well as sing the Parking Ticket song.
This person will read various smaller lines of text and song, fill out the sound on group songs as well as sing the Mustard song.
This person will help set the scene with important stage directions from the original script. Singing not required but can sing in group songs if desired.
