Theater Audition for "Guards! Guards" Play

ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. Seeking performers for production of "Guards! Guards". More details are below. About the play: "Guards! Guards!" is the 8th novel in Sir Terry Pratchett's Discworld fantasy series and is the first book in the City Watch sub-series. The plot involves a secret society, the Elucidated Brethren of the Ebon Night, who summon a dragon to Ankh-Morpork to terrorize the city and destabilize the government, allowing them to install a puppet king. The story follows the city's newly formed, idealistic Night Watch, led by the disillusioned Captain Vimes and his new recruit, the dwarfish-raised human Carrot, as they try to stop the scheme and deal with the dragon. Absurdist humour abounds! Rate: This is a non-union, community theatre production. All roles are on a volunteer basis. Additional information: Call backs on the afternoon of Oct 11.
