Auditions for production of "The Importance of Being Earnest". Seeking young actors. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE CONSIDERED. Please see the breakdown below. About the project: Perhaps the original screwball romcom! Jack and Algernon invent fake identities so they can slip away from their everyday lives for a bit of romance and fun. Things get complicated when they both pretend to be named Ernest while courting two women. Additional info: Auditions will consist of cold reads from the script. You can read the play at many sites online; watch on YouTube; or any of several movies. Please prepare a short comedic monologue (one minute or less). British/Scottish/Irish accents encouraged.
