The company is holding auditions for "A Very Silver Christmas" Show and looking for performers, please see the details below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE CONSIDERED. Additional info: Seeking eleven-fifteen dynamic performers for a holiday fundraiser production titled A Very Silver Christmas, featuring a musical cabaret and a one-act play. The cabaret portion of the event will feature mid-century holiday music, the specific songs of which will be decided in collaboration with the singers. NOT ALL PERFORMERS will be featured as singers, but MOST OR ALL PERFORMERS will be featured in our one-act play, Thornton Wilder's The Long Christmas Dinner. So, if you have a specific interest in only acting, only singing, or in being a part of both, do let directors know! Time Commitment: Production Dates: Friday, December 5th and Saturday, December 6th, with possible matinee December 6th or 7th. Rehearsals Performers will NOT be called to every rehearsal. Sundays and Saturdays, OCTOBER 19TH - NOVEMBER 8TH, 6:30-9:00pm Sunday-Thursday, NOVEMBER 16TH-20TH, 6:30-9:00pm Sunday-Tuesday, NOVEMBER 23RD-25TH, 6:30-9:00pm Breaks (We will NOT meet November 9th-15th and November 26th-30th) Tech (DECEMBER 1ST-4TH, 6:30-9:00pm) When applying, please include your HEADSHOT and RESUME by October 9th. (Lead) - Roderick's cousin and a heavy drinker who joins the family's Christmas dinners, rugged and self-confident.
(Lead) - Roderick and Lucia's son, a businessman who marries Leonora, confident and energetic.
(Supporting) - The twin son of Charles and Leonora, spirited, killed in World War I.
(Supporting) - The youngest son of Charles and Leonora, charismatic and an alcoholic.
(Lead) - Roderick's wife, who transforms from cheerful to melancholic as time passes.
(Lead) - Roderick and Lucia's daughter, who declares that she will "never marry."
(Lead) - Charles' wife and the mother of their three children, experiencing the joy of having children and the sorrow of losing them,
(Lead) - Distant relative who joins the family in later decades, gentle observer.
(Supporting) - The initial matriarch of the family and Roderick's mother, reminiscent of earlier days.
(Supporting) - The twin daughter of Charles and Leonora, youthful innocence and vigor.
