The plant, however, isn’t your average potted greenery—it has a craving for human blood and a voice that can’t be ignored. As Audrey II grows—both in size and in fame—Seymour’s fortunes rise. But so does the body count. As the plant’s true intentions become clear, Seymour is faced with a moral dilemma: How far will he go for success, love, and a taste of fame? Equal parts horror, comedy, and rock musical, Little Shop of Horrors features a catchy score by Alan Menken and Howard Ashman, with doo-wop, Motown, and rock-and-roll influences that bring this darkly comic tale to life.
