Seeking professional musical theatre performers, with a previous obsession for the Barbie Animated movies, for an 80 minute concert featuring Barbie’s greatest hits for "A Girl Like You: In Concert". More details are below. Show Description: No need to dig through your mom’s basement for that old CD case of classic animated Barbie movies… this winter, join us for A Girl Like You, a nostalgic concert celebration of Barbie’s greatest hits. Featuring a marvelous cast of 8 performers, you’ll be transported back to the magic of singing along with your favourite characters. With stunning vocals and timeless songs, this event is perfect for the whole family. Rate: $800. Based on appx 25 hours of rehearsal time, plus baseline tech/show fee. Contract: Non Equity. Additional information: Show Dates: November 15th: 2 PM/ 7PM | 19 on the Park | Markham/Stouffville. Tech November 14th Daytime December 5th 7PM Toronto. December 6th 2 PM/7PM Toronto. Tech December 4th Daytime. Rehearsals will be held Monday/Wednesday evenings with select Saturday evenings starting the second week of October. Rehearsals will be centrally located downtown Toronto. You will not be called to every rehearsal. The rehearsal space is accessible. When applying, please submit a head shot/resume by Friday September 26th 11:59 PM.
