Rate: Roles paid with honorarium of $100-150, depending on role and # of tickets sold. Additional information: Requirements: Come ready dressed in character. Character package with backstory, suggested costumes, event layout will be provided 2 weeks prior to the event. Requesting that all performers share the event to support ticket sales. Event description: Join them in Toronto at this mystical, live action role-playing rave, for an immersive experience like no other, where they delve into the Divine Darkness that shrouds a forbidden tale waiting to be unveiled. Prepare to be spellbound by an immersive narrative that will transport you to realms unknown. Embrace the shadows and discover the secrets hidden within the veil of darkness. Attendees will embark on a quest, solving 4x puzzles with clues and immersive engagement around the room. “In an enchanted forest, the witch captivated by the darkest of stories, infuriated by the mis-telling of her kin, conjures the ghost of the writer to the underlair of her cottage. Together traveling through stories to correct the mistakes, reminding all that there is divinity in the darkness. Female-identifying, to play a former princess turned witch’s assistant. Performance has a script, and relies on physical acting and in-character improv. The objective is to send attendees on their quest. Handing out quest cards from a booth. Determined, wise, and nurturing, she embodies the spirit element. Simultaneously she is be sassy and dramatic. She is a beacon of hope for those feeling trapped by societal norms.
Female identifying to play a siren at a shipwreck. Performance is physical acting, with some speaking required. Hearing attendees speak to you in a loud space The objective as a part of the quest, the attendees will interact with you. They have a quest that you will mark complete once they solve the related puzzle. A once-powerful Siren who has silenced her voice due to fear.Melancholic yet hopeful, she embodies the water element.
Improv/Dancer. Non speaking role. In room engagement with an on stage ecstatic dance*/ improv dance performance throughout the evening. The objective is to add ambiance and playfulness through the venue space. A Fae girl who lost her way in the vast forest, dons a wolf mask to protect herself from dangers. The Wolf: A representation of the fears and challenges that lurk in the darkness. Brave, clever, and resourceful. She is grounded and protective of herself and others.
